Got the spicy sandwich, the cubano, baked potatoe hand pie, pizza danish, caramel brown butter brownie and the bananas foster cinnamon roll. Yeah, I like to eat.
The sandwiches didn’t melt my face off like I was expecting- perhaps porchetta just isn’t my jam so I can’t really fault them. The pastries were the bombbbbb. The margarita pizza danish was so yummy and the sweets were next level. Will be back for more.
This place is absolutely insane. Grabbed half the menu with some friends and it was some of the best food I’ve ever gotten. Insanely good sandwich, good coffee and great little tray of mini desserts. Can’t recall the flavors on them but each one was a nice little sampler and very good.
My only minuscule gripe was that I got tomato on my sandwich and got an end cut. Structural rigidity of the sandwich was comprised. But with a little engineering and some grit I made it work. A tiny detail but still a great sandwich nonetheless
This place sounds good in theory, but I don’t think they know how to make sandwiches. I don’t know how everyone else is getting a perfect sandwich every time but they’re just entirely too full. I ordered the Cubano and it literally had an entire piece of cauliflower in it and an entire unchopped garlic clove. The balance is off, and the hard crispy pork skin is off putting. The sandwiches I’ve had are just a meat mountain with random coursely chopped (at best) stuff piled on top. If you’re really hungry and don’t care about quality sandwiches I guess it will do but the other time I ate here the ciabatta was rock hard and eviscerated my mouth and this time it’s soggy as a mofo, not cut in half, and filled with unchopped and frankly poorly made giardiniera. I won’t be back.
So, I’m currently obsessed with this place! My husband and I are making a habit of going every weekend.
They have really tasty pastries that they switch up, we got the strawberry hand pie and a almond crossant last time and they were sooo yummy! Here in my photos is the spicy porker. I literally eat this sandwich and say “oh my gosh it’s so good” 10 times in the process of eating it. Fresh bread, tender meat, fresh slaw, spicy relish. It’s incredible! They have great coffee, and we also just love the service! Employees are so kind, and welcoming. We love Taylor, he’s remembered us every time we’ve come, and treats us like friends.
I love this place! You must come!
Yoooo how have I not tried this place sooner? It got on my radar when I was looking for sparkling espresso (of all things!). The citrus something spritzer was indeed fabulous, but my breakfast sammy stole the show (egg, gruyere, porchetta and heirloom tomato on ciabatta). Only small critique is that, while delicious, the ciabatta is a lot of bread so the sandwich still seemed a lil dry despite pesto and runny egg (the best!). Meant to get a side of this house ketchup, but forgot. Pastries also look amazing, but haven't given those a go yet. Will definitely be going back.
Trendy, hip restaurant, serving porchetta sandwiches on housemade ciabatta through a sidewalk window. Check out the menu for their other specialties, too. Call ahead or walk up only. The quick, friendly service and food are outstanding. A few counters at curbside are handy for stand-up eating. We ordered the OG Philly w provolone & pesto, and the OG w truffles and goat cheese. We were surprised with the generous amount of meat on the sandwiches. The crunchy pork crackling on the OG is transformational! Nothing like it? Next door is their Small Oven Bakery, serving both sweet and savory pastries. The goodies in the display window are all so enticing. Our favorites were the Chai Cinnamon Bun & the Raspberry Creamcheese Danish. Fresh and soft and mildly sweet. You've got to try the bakery as well!
Outstanding! Made a door dash order & called about a seed allergy. The person I spoke with handled everything friendly and professionally getting me what worked better. Super service! Amazing sandwich. Feel like I need a nap now! That crispy pork skin was orgazzzzmic!!!
Super yummy sandwiches! We tried the OG, Philly and Bresaola - all delish in a different way. Almost brought me back to Rome. The croissants are excellent also. I wish I lived closer. Keep in mind this is just a window in the wall - no indoor area, no seating. There are 3 high places where you could eat, but no chairs
